A Short text about the Kyrgyzstan people.
The first day we were invited to eat, drink, fishing, we’re given presents, money and al lot o friendly words.
The second day kids throw stones at us, people scream fuck you, show us their middle finger an shout: fuck Americans.
Our theory is that to some people we look like Americans. No offense, but Americans seem not to be welcome in Kyrgyzstan, maybe because Afghanistan is not far, maybe because of other history we don’t know about.
But we need to do something about it. People are friendly as they get to know that we are from Germany. So we need to make that clear.
Again, I dont mean any offense against Americans, not at all, I just can’t recommend any American to go to Kyrgyzstan.
We will buy an kyrgys flag as soon as possible and write Berlin-Shanghai on our bikes and bags. Hope that helps.
By the way, until now we didn’t get wounded. These people who threw stones at us were not good at aiming ;0).
